The Daily Practice
Bilateral Contrast Therapy (BCT)
The core daily practice of the NCP. A structured series of physical, breathwork, and somatic practices that move the nervous system deliberately between its two poles.
Practice 01
Movement Contrast
Free unstructured movement before structured exercise. Opens the feeling body before the doing body takes over.
Practice 02
Thermal Contrast
Cold to hot exposure. Trains the nervous system to transition fluidly between activation and reception.
Practice 03
Bilateral Breathwork
Alternate nostril breathing. Directly stimulates both branches of the autonomic nervous system.
Practice 04
HRV Contrast Breathing
One minute energising breath followed by coherence rhythm. Drives deeper regulation than slow breathing alone.
Practice 05
Sensory Contrast
Silence followed by sound, toning, or vocal expression. Reopens suppressed expressive pathways.
Practice 06
Somatic Release
Stillness followed by natural tremoring (TRE). Discharges stored tension from the fascia and musculature.
Daily Minimum Protocol
🌅 Morning — Alternate nostril breathing (5 min) + Cold to hot shower
🏋️ Movement — Unstructured movement → Structured exercise
🌙 Evening — HRV contrast breathing (10 min)

Weeks 1–8
Establish the daily BCT rhythm. Build a safe internal container before any deep work begins.
Coherence
Weeks 6–12
The nervous system builds genuine elasticity. Personal suppression patterns are mapped. HRV becomes measurably trackable.
Feeling Body Resurrection
Months 2–4
The suppressed feeling body wakes up. Emotional memories surface. Voice, movement, and expression begin to unlock.
Bilateral Balancing
Months 3–5
Both poles become accessible. Structure and flow held simultaneously. Chronic pain patterns begin shifting.
Meta-Awareness Activation
Months 4–6
A stable internal witness emerges — present to both poles without being dominated by either. HRV stabilises at high coherence.
Expression Liberation
Months 5–8
